As the winter months approach and the nights get colder, one thing we always notice is the condition of our skin. With the heating on full and the cold christmas breeze, it is apparent that our skin will lose its moisture, making it looked cracked, dull and flaky. Im going to share with you a few moisturisers that i tend to use morning and night to keep myself hydrated throughout the holidays.
One of my all time favourite moisturiser brands to use is Soap and Glory. I find their products work amazing and the best part has to be the scent, not to mention the humorous packaging! Whats great about their products is they are a great essential gift as they come already packaged without the need to fork out loads of dolla!
At night time, i tend to use a rich lotion to allow it to absorb overnight. For this i use trusty Palmer's Cocoa Butter, as this is a great great moisturiser although it's one of those where you've got to dance around your bedroom for half hour before you can get dressed. And just to warn you, you will want to eat yourself after applying this; the smell is just THAT good!
For a cheap moisturiser, there is nothin better than Garnier! Garnier products are great lotions for those who have little time on their hands as they absorb so quickly! I also love their lotions with a hint of self tan as this is great for the winter months!
For multi-purpose products, there is nothing better than Elle McPherson's range The Body. Their firming lotion absorbs deep into the skin whilst tightening and making your skin look radiant. They smell so clean and fresh too, it's great!
Other moisturising ranges i'm obsessed with:
- Clarins
- No7
- E45
- Liz Earle
The next review will be my favourite Self Tanners..
'till next time lovelies xo

Thumbs up to Liz Earle
I am the type of person that spends endless amounts of ££££ on skin care and has tried copious types of brands; no7, Estée Lauder, Clarins, Garnier etc etc etc. I was at the point when I though that nothing else could possibly worked for me because I had tried them all. But I was clearly mistaken..
After watching plenty of YouTube videos and reading blogs (Zoella, for example) I came across the brand called Liz Earle. I decided to look on their website and see what all the hype was about. I found it SO helpful as it individually stated what every item did and how it would benefit your skin which I think is so important when purchasing skin care products. On top of this, I then discovered that you could buy a starter kit so that if you didn't like the product, you hadn't spent a lot of money and didn't have large sized bottles cluttering your bathroom.
In the starter kit you got:
- 30ml Hot Polish Cleanser
- 1 Muslin Cloth
- 50ml Instant Boost Skin Tonic
- 15ml Skin Repair Moisturiser for Dry/Sensitive
- 15ml Skin Repair Moisturiser for Normal/Combination
I thought that the idea of getting the two moisturisers was great! In the larger sets you have to pick which moisturiser you would like, so by purchasing the starter kit you get to try them both out. My skin is combination as I have dry areas and also oily areas and found that the normal/combination moisturiser has worked really really well for my skin type.
I found that the products have such a clean beautiful fragrance and give you that amazing clean feeling you get after taking your makeup off!
I have been using the starter kit now for about two weeks and have found the products to be faultless. As I am nearly out of the cleanser and moisturiser I decided to purchase the full size normal/combination set which I believe come with 100ml bottles. I will be looking forward to using these products as soon as I arrive & assure you; they are well worth it!
Starter kit: £24.25
Normal kit: £41.00 - at the moment, Liz Earle are having a promotion where if you buy is pack, you get a free eye lotion worth £24.75 and a free mascara! Don't miss out...

My beautiful sister
One thing I love in this world who means most to me is my sister. I think it's special to have someone in your life like a sister who will cheer you up when you're down and steal your things when you're not looking! Haaha.
This weekend i went to her swimming presentation where she won 6 medals for time trial races she had done the week before. Eventhough shes only 10 and probably wont see this ever, i am so proud of her and are so happy to have an amazing sister like her :) loving you!

Return of the MAC..
The cold nights are here and christmas is coming. This can only mean one thing - kick off your heels, put on your onezie and make yourself a hot chocolate! Christmas has to be one of the best times of year; loads of giving, loads of eating and the best time to slap on your makeup..
One thing i love around this time is the lipsticks. Throw out all the pinks and corals; dark is all you need ladies. The other day I popped to MAC and picked up two great lipsticks; Rebel and Diva and i have to say, I AM IN LOVE. Pop on a snood and a pair of gloves and you're good to go. I always find a bold lip works much better than a dramatic eye. It classy and elegant and a must have in your Christmas faves!
